Portland, Oregon is located in close proximity to the confluence of the Columbia and Willamette Rivers. Statistics indicate that the city occupies the 29th position in the list of the most populated cities in the country and is also the most populated city in the state. The city boasts of being the “greenest” city in the country for its environmentally friendly initiatives. Portland is the seat of the Multnomah County.
